I'm just absolutely LOVING this whole series you guys. While the story lines of the books in this series may not be cliff-hanger edge of your seat will they / won't they stuff, they are so totally original because they are all told 100% from the mail POV which gives the book and entirely different feel to it. And its just so cool! Lauren Blakely has mastered the dude's voice, I can totally picture these sexy as men telling the story of how their hearts were stolen right out of their chest.

Let’s back up.

            How did we get from not kissing to kissing? What was that turning point? Did she lean into me? Did I move closer to her? Details matter. I’ll gladly share them. 

            Start with six months of sexual tension. Add in two mojitos for her, two beers for me, and a couple vodka tonics. Stir that with some bad news on the business front, and top it with the cherry of Natalie’s hit-me-over-the-head-with-a-stick comment that left no question as to what she wanted…and here I am.

            We don’t lean into each other. There’s no inch-by-slow-sensual-inch pull. It’s not a slow burn.

This book was just so much fun! I love Lauren Blakely's writing style. Think it's so cool that the entire book is through Nick Hammer's POV. I love Nick's non-stop cocky ego. And how while he's completely positive that he's God's gift to women, he's also constantly second guessing himself and overanalyzing things when it comes to Miss Harper Holiday. :) He's totally smitten with her since before the book even begins. He's her big brother's best friend. (I LOVE the Brother's Best friend storyline... Forbidden love at its cutest!) Speaking of Cute, Nick writes a cartoon strip turned animated TV show 'Mister O', and Harper is a Magician! She does children's parties. So fun! Both of them living their dreams. Through Harper's Brother they have gotten to know each other and formed this adorable, playful friendship. I think that fun banter sone of my very favorite things in a story when two characters are getting to know one another. And this entire book is just packed full of fun witty playful sexy banter. I fell so Hard for both of these cute characters. Nick, being the ultimate book boyfriend, and Harper being everything I want in a book bestie! I think that Lauren Blakely nailed the perfect amount of fun and laughs, packed full of sexy times, and just enough angst to keep things really interesting. It was a lighthearted, fun, sexy read, and I truly enjoyed it, cover to cover.
