ROYALLY MATCHED by Emma Chase Book Review Release Blitz

Royally-Matched-3D-book        Some men are born responsible, some men have responsibility thrust upon them. Henry Charles Albert Edgar Pembrook, Prince of Wessco, just got the motherlode of all responsibility dumped in his regal lap. He’s not handling it well. Hoping to force her grandson to rise to the occasion, Queen Lenora goes on a much-needed safari holiday—and when the Queen’s away, the Prince will play. After a chance meeting with an American television producer, Henry finally makes a decision all on his own: Welcome to Matched: Royal Edition. A reality TV dating game show featuring twenty of the world's most beautiful blue bloods gathered in the same castle. Only one will win the diamond tiara, only one will capture the handsome prince’s heart. While Henry revels in the sexy, raunchy antics of the contestants as they fight, literally, for his affection, it’s the quiet, bespectacled girl in the corner—with the voice of an angel and a body that would tempt a saint—who catches his eye. The more Henry gets to know Sarah Mirabelle Zinnia Von Titebottum, the more enamored he becomes of her simple beauty, her strength, her kind spirit…and her naughty sense of humor. But Rome wasn’t built in a day—and irresponsible royals aren’t reformed overnight. As he endeavors to right his wrongs, old words take on whole new meanings for the dashing Prince. Words like, Duty, Honor and most of all—Love.

MY REVIEW:

I had been wanting to read Royally Screwed forever. Like since it came out it just sounded so fun and adorable. But I never got around to it. So then when this arc for Royally Matched arrived on my Kindle I stopped everything and one-clicked Royally Screwed. I spent the week with the Prince Nicholas & Prince Henry and OH MY GOODNESS, it was the best EVER! Seriously, I LOOOOOVE them both.

Prince Nicholas was serious. His heart belonged to the throne. He showed loyalty and bravery and he sacrificed so much for his family and then ultimately for LOVE. It is such a beautiful strong heartfelt story.

Then Prince Henry comes in like a wrecking ball, he's just such a ray of sunshine. He's hilarious and sexy and fun, the life of the party. I loved him from the very start.

I loved Sweet, Mysterious Sarah and the pull that Henry feels to her right from the very start. Its such a beautiful connection they share. He's so intrigued by her mind and heart. I love their conversations and intimacy. While Henry has lived every moment of his life in the public eye, their life is so so private, very much their own. It felt so special, as a reader to get to share that intimacy with them.

I loved this book, this whole series.

THE NEIGHBORHOOD (Twin Estates #2) by Stylo Fantôme Release Blitz

Title: The Neighborhood
Series: Twin Estates #2
Author: Stylo Fantôme
Genre: Erotic Romance
Release Date: January 17, 2017

Blurb

Things a bad neighbor can do to you:

1. Have loud parties late at night

2. Refuse to mow his lawn

3. Steal your newspapers

4. Rip your heart out and walk all over it

Katya Tocci is willing to admit that she may have bitten off more than she could chew.

Liam Edenhoff showed her a side of life she'd been missing out on - sex and friendship and tacos. But then he betrayed her.

Wulfric Stone taught her that big surprises can come from unexpected places - like from a surly, aggressive, withdrawn bastard. But then he broke her heart.

Now one of them wants forgiveness, and the other wants forever. And Katya? She just wants to forget.

Who knew neighbors could be so difficult?

This story contains scenes of a graphic sexual nature, multiple uses of coarse language, and quite possibly enough confusion to drive a normal person insane. Reader discretion is advised.

ADD TO GOODREADS

M Y  R E V I E W:
What an absolutely PHENOMENAL, EMOTIONAL, PANTY-MELTING, HEART-POUNDING, GUT-WRENCHING series this was. I LOVED Neighbors, LOVED. These characters grabbed ahold of my heart. I thought about them constantly between the release of the two books, could not get them, or their story out of my heart. (I meant to write head, but my fingers typed heart, and know what, they were right.)

I follow Stylo Fantôme on Facebook and she had mentioned that she struggled with this second book... writing and re-writing the story. And you know what I realize, you know what is so blatantly clear as you read through these chapters... at some point Stylo  decided to let the characters take the reins and write their own story. It wasn't always pretty, it wasn't always easy to read. Because shit went down, hearts were broken, hearts were healed, friedships lost and found. Sometimes I wanted to scream at the characters, sometimes I just needed Wulfric to hold me. It was REAL, and it was RAW, and I FELT IT I felt it to my core, and I absolutely LOVED it.

It was SUCH a perfect conclusion... to the things that were concluded... and while she gave us the closure we needed in some storylines, others are just beginning, I know she has so much awesomeness in store for us!

Excerpt

"Have you eaten?” he asked.
“How did you get in here?” she ignored his question and asked her own.
“I have access to the keys for every building we manage. Are you really meeting that thing for dinner?” he asked again.
“Okay, first of all, 'that thing' is a seriously good looking, very successful, and ridiculously nice man – a man who has yet to lie to me and use me,” she pointed out.
“Key word being 'yet'.”
“And second of all, I know for a fact my lease states you have to give me twenty-four hour notice before you just barge in here. If you come in again without my permission, I'm gonna file a complaint,” she warned him. He laughed. Actually laughed. Something Wulfric Stone didn't do very often. She took a deep breath and looked away from his broad smile.
“Please do. I'll direct my HR department to hand deliver it to my desk so I can deal with it
personally.”
“Are we done here? I have things to do today that don't involve dealing with you,” she snapped. He stepped closer to her.
“You might be even funner now than you were before.”
“That's not funny, and if you can't realize that, then there is literally no hope for you.”
“Ah, implying there is hope.”
“Shut up.”
“Feisty. I love it.”
“I talked to Vieve,” she blurted out. That finally stopped him.
“Oh, really,” was all he said.
“Yup. Went to your place, had a cup of coffee with her,” she said. That seemed to actually surprise him.
“You were in my home?” he checked.
“Yes. Apparently, I could've been spending lots of time there. Very generous of you to give me complete access,” she said. He didn't react, though she noticed the tendon in the side of his neck was taut and straining.
“Yes, well, I've met you. I knew if you ever showed up, it would be a huge hassle with the front desk calling my office and you calling my cell phone and me having to drive across town.
Was just easier that way.”
“Sure. Okay.”
“And how was the coffee? I have it imported.”
Katya stared at the tight tendon for a moment longer. He was so good at putting on a false front, she knew. Looking calm and collected. After all, this was a man who ate million dollar real estate deals before breakfast.
But it was all fake. He was nervous. Deep down, she could tell. Being forceful was just his way of barreling through a problem he didn't actually want to deal with – he could just strong arm her into doing what he wanted. No unnecessary awkwardness. That was Wulf's M.O.
Yeah, well, my M.O. is to make him feel as awkward as humanly possible.
“I can't go to breakfast with you,” she stated, brushing past him and heading down the hallway. He didn't hesitate to follow behind her.
“No shit, it's afternoon – it's too late for brunch, even. But that Brazilian food cart is open for lunches now, we're going -” he started, but she waved her hand over her shoulder as she moved into her bedroom.
"I can't, I'm busy this afternoon. I have to go shopping for a new stove – don't worry, I'll have the bill sent to you,” she joked, turning around and standing in the doorway to her room.
He glared down at her.
“Don't be ridiculous. I'll talk to maintenance, we can get a new stove in by the end of the
week,” he assured her.
“Whatever. I have other plans.”
“Tocci, I'm not -”
“But how about dinner?” she offered.
That seemed to shock him. He stood still for moment, his eyes wandering over her face.
Obviously trying to figure out if she was lying. She offered him a big smile, and that just seemed to throw him even more off guard. He finally narrowed his eyes.
“If I make reservations, you'll be downstairs on time?” he checked.
“No,” she shook her head. “But I can meet you there.”
“Bullshit. You'll stand me up, and I'm not wasting my time, sitting around like an asshole waiting for you,” he said.
“I won't, I promise. I have … a client I'm dealing with this afternoon. I don't know how long it will take,” she told him.
“What about your dinner date with your darling handyman?” he asked. She shrugged.
“I'll figure something out, don't worry about it. I'll have dinner with you.”
“You promise?” he checked, still glaring down at her. She nodded and ran her fingers across her chest in an X motion.
“Cross my heart.”
“Fine. But don't fuck with me, Tocci. You won't like it if I have to come and find you. We have a lot to discuss,” he informed her. She nodded.
“I'm sure we do. What's the dress code?” she asked. Wulf was a 3-Michelin-stars kind of restaurant goer when it came to dinner dates.
“A dress,” he informed her, and then his gaze wandered over her shoulder. She had some clothes laying around on the floor, littered about on the bed. She was gearing up to do laundry. “If you'd like to try on some options, I'd be more than happy to sit and help.”
Katya laughed and slid her hands up either side of the door frame. Wulf followed the motion with his eyes, which grew wide when she leaned towards him.
“Mmmm, that would be fun, wouldn't it?” she chuckled.
“Possibly.”
“And it's been a very long time since you've been in my bedroom,” she reminded him. He nodded.
“It has.”
“And we never got to have any real fun in here, did we?” she sighed, glancing back at her bed.
“No. No, we did it not.”
“It must make you wonder, though,” she said, dropping her hands and stepping back into the room.
“Wonder what?”
“What kind of fun Liam and I used to have in here.”
There was a split second where she got to see equal parts anger and shock ripple across his features.
Then she slammed the door in his face.

Crazy woman living in an undisclosed location in Alaska (where the need for a creative mind is a necessity!), I have been writing since ... forever? Yeah, that sounds about right. I have been told that I remind people of Lucille Ball - I also see shades of Jennifer Saunders, and Denis Leary. So basically, I laugh a lot, I'm clumsy a lot, and I say the F-word A LOT.

I like dogs more than I like most people, and I don't trust anyone who doesn't drink. No, I do not live in an igloo, and no, the sun does not set for six months out of the year, there's your Alaska lesson for the day. I have mermaid hair - both a curse and a blessing - and most of the time I talk so fast, even I can't understand me.

Yeah. I think that about sums me up.

EGO MANIAC by Vi Keeland Release Blitz

  egomaniac-available-now

= S Y N O P S I S =

The night I met Drew Jagger, he’d just broken into my new Park Avenue office. I dialed 9-1-1 before proceeding to attack him with my fancy new Krav Maga skills. He quickly restrained me, then chuckled, finding my attempted assault amusing.

Pageflex Persona [document: PRS0000038_00072]Of course, my intruder had to be arrogant. Only, turned out, he wasn’t an intruder at all.

Drew was the rightful occupant of my new office. He’d been on vacation while his posh space was renovated. Which was how a scammer got away with leasing me office space that wasn’t really available for rent. I was swindled out of ten grand.

The next day, after hours at the police station, Drew took pity on me and made me an offer I couldn’t refuse. In exchange for answering his phones while his secretary was out, he’d let me stay until I found a new place. I probably should have acted grateful and kept my mouth shut when I overheard the advice he was spewing to his clients. But I couldn’t help giving him a piece of my mind. I never expected my body to react every time we argued. Especially when that was all we seemed to be able to do.

The two of us were complete opposites. Drew was a bitter, angry, gorgeous-as-all-hell, destroyer of relationships. And my job was to help people save their marriages. The only thing the two of us had in common was the space we were sharing. And an attraction that was getting harder to deny by the day.

S Y N O P S I S:
I hired her to fix my company, to bring Marks Lingerie back to life. I didn’t expect her to become my friend. I didn’t expect to fall in love with her.

The first rule of business is to never touch your employees. I think there is another rule about not falling for your best friend—a rule against imagining the curves of her body, or the way her breathing would change if I pulled down her panties and unzipped my pants.

Now, I can’t wait any longer. I’m tossing out the rules.

Damn the company.

Damn our friendship.

Damn my fears.

M Y  R E V I E W:

Alessandra Torre is just one of those authors that you can put your full trust in. When you one-click one of her books you can just hand over your heart for a little while, and sit back and enjoy the ride. She might not always take you down the road that you expect to travel, she might detour and make you stop and smell the ocean air, she might, drive to fast, down scary bumpy cliff side roads. But wherever she takes you, you know, you KNOW that you are going to love every second of the ride.

Love in Lingerie was fun, sweet, and fast paced. I crawled into bed to read it last night and when I went to turn off the light only a couple hours had passed and I was halfway into the book. I didn't even want to stop reading it was just one of those nights I knew I could read forever if I let myself, so I had to be a grown up and set my kindle down. ;) ...and then I picked it up first thing in the morning and read until the book was finished. Haha! See how grown up I am!

I loved the banter, and the NON-STOP building sexual tension between Kate & Trey is off the charts and so so good. This was one of the best office romances I've read...ever. I totally recommend this book, and every other book by Alessandra Torre too while I'm at it!

  hit-the-spot-banner

Is this love or just a game? Tori Rivera thinks Jamie McCade is rude, arrogant, and worst of all . . . the sexiest man she's ever laid eyes on. His reputation as a player is almost as legendary as his surfing skills. No matter how her body heats up when he's around, she's determined not to be another meaningless hookup. Jamie McCade always gets what he wants. The sickest wave. The hottest women. And Tori, with her long legs and smart mouth, is definitely the hottest one. He knows Tori wants him-hell, most women do-but she won't admit it. After months of chasing and one unforgettable kiss, it's time for Jamie to raise the stakes. Jamie promises that soon Tori won't just want him in her bed, she'll be begging for it-and he might be right. Somehow he's found the spot in her heart that makes her open up like never before. But with all she knows about his past, can she really trust what's happening between them? Is Jamie playing for keeps or just playing to win? This book can be read as a stand-alone. M Y  R E V I E W:

Oh my goodness I could not get enough of these two in FOUR LETTER WORD. When I found out they were going to get their own book I was OVERJOYED to say the least.

One of my favorite thing in books is the banter between characters. Four Letter Word, was intense, and broody, and emotional, I LOVED IT. Hit The Spot followed up with a more light hearted, fast paced, fun take on love. It was full of laugh out loud moments but it did not hold back on heart or emotion.

We find out that both Jamie and Tori have SO much more to offer then meets the eye. In Four Letter Word they both think they have the other figured out, even we thing that about them, but Hit the Spot dives so much further into their character and we learn that they both have pasts, they both have things to over come, and they find a peace and escape in each other that neither of them was expecting.

This was SUCH a fun read! But it was so much more then that too!

EXCERPT:
Hammerjacks was dimly lit and packed with bodies, some dancing together and others crowding the bar, waiting to get served. I started scanning the room as I came up beside Tori, who was doing the same even though she had no idea who she was looking for. I saw Quinn almost instantly. She wasn’t hard to spot. The bright pink spiked-out hair helped with that. “There,” I said, pointing in the direction of the bar where my sister was sitting on a stool, head turned away from the group of shitheads swarming her. She was alone. That pissed me off. She was here, in town visiting, and she was looking for ass. That pissed me off, too. Not much I could do about the second thing, I understood it, but she was gonna hear my feelings toward the other whether she wanted to hear them or not. “What’s her name again?” Tori asked as we made our way over. “Quinn,” I said. She nodded, face serious. Then she tucked stray pieces of hair behind her ears and smoothed out the rest of her pony, pulled the one sleeve of her shirt down so it exposed her shoulder and bra strap, straightened her spine, tipped her chin up, and put on a smile before rushing ahead. “Hey, sweetie. Sorry I’m late,” Tori chirped, squeezing in between my sister and the shitheads as if they weren’t standing there. She grabbed Quinn’s face, bent down, and kissed her cheek. “I missed you. Did you miss me?” she asked, bringing both hands to Quinn’s neck and holding there while standing between her bent knees. Tori was smiling and playing the part, leaning close and making it seem like they were really together, or at least really feeling each other. My sister was blinking up at Tori, looking baffled but also looking like she was wanting to buy everything Legs was selling. I wasn’t surprised. Quinn shared my taste in women. And I definitely had a taste for Legs. “Whoa, are you two…damn. Is this your girl?” one of the shitheads asked from behind Tori, pointing at the back of her. “Jesus,” another one chimed in, looking his fill. “What are the chances of me watchin’ you two go at it? This is fuckin’ hot.” I stepped up then, not liking the tone of this guy and the shit coming out of his mouth, and wanting to make my presence known. He saw me approach and shot me a hard look, asking, “You gotta problem?” “Jamie.” Teeth clenched and fists forming, I looked to Quinn, not taking the bait he was throwing out. She was watching me, eyes serious and mouth tight, subtly shaking her head in warning ’cause she knew I couldn’t be fighting or doing anything that could draw negative attention. Then she turned her attention onto Tori when she twisted and slid into Quinn’s lap. “Fishing in the wrong pond, boys,” Tori informed them, sweeping her gaze over the three while putting her arm around Quinn’s shoulders and pressing close. “Get lost. We’re not interested.” Then she turned all of her attention onto my sister and amped up her game, giggling as she kept her face close to hers and running her fingers through her hair, smiling, whispering, really flirting and looking into it, all while blocking the view of the shitheads so they couldn’t watch. And everything Legs was doing, my sister was eating up. Wrapping her arms around Tori and holding on to her, smiling back, laughing, looking like she was falling in love and thinking this was real and something sustainable. I was starting to regret incorporating Tori into this plan. She was a little too good at her game. Straight up. Maybe the best at it. I was also starting to get mildly jealous watching my sister getting attention from the one woman who was hell-bent on ignoring my ass. “Man, whatever,” the one guy said, grabbing his beer and looking to his friends. “Come on. I’m not wastin’ my time on lesbian pussy.” His friends murmured their agreement, mentioned something about hitting up Roy’s, a bar down the street, then grabbed their beers and stepped away. When they were out of earshot, I shifted my eyes to Legs, telling her, “Think you sold it. You can get off my sister now.” Tori smiled proudly, lifting her shoulders with a little dance. Then she looked to Quinn, keeping the smile, and said, “Hey, I’m Tori. Your brother dragged me here, so I figured I’d offer my assistance instead of letting him handle it, since he can’t fight and all.” “Can fight, just shouldn’t,” I corrected her. I jerked my chin. “Hop off.” Quinn moved her hands up Tori’s back and licked her lips. “Wicked plan,” my sister told her. “I was totally into that.” “I think it got the point across,” Tori replied. “I really like your hair, by the way.” She ran her fingers through it again. “The color looks great on you.” “Really?” “Absolutely. It really makes your eyes pop.” “I was thinking about going purple…” “Have you tried bleaching the roots and just painting the color on the ends? I think that would look amazing with purple.” Jesus. “Legs,” I barked. Both of their heads whipped around and faced my direction. “You feelin’ like gettin’ up so we can get the fuck outta here?” I asked, thinking only about the food back at her place I was wanting to eat and not about how comfortable my sister’s hands looked gripping on to Tori’s body. “She’s fine,” Quinn offered, keeping her hands locked around Legs. “Really. She doesn’t have to move.” I shot a glare at Quinn, communicating how I felt about that suggestion, then shifted that glare to Tori. “I was getting up. Relax. We were just talking,” she huffed, moving off Quinn’s lap and coming to stand beside me. “You’re welcome, by the way,” she murmured.     hts-teaser-6 img_4836   logo-rectangle-1-2400-x-1025J.Daniels is the New York Times and USA Today bestselling author of the Sweet Addiction series, the Alabama Summer series, and the Dirty Deeds series. SCARLET STONE by Jewel E. Ann Book Review and Release Blitz

sscover

S Y N O P S I S:
“My name is Scarlet Stone, and my biggest fear is that someday I will find what I want most in life, and it will be impossible to steal.” What happens when life just stops? When one moment makes you question your entire existence? Scarlet Stone is a third-generation thief who has everything: a doting fiancé, a spacious London flat, and a legitimate job offer. In a single breath, everything becomes nothing, and she finds herself on a plane to Savannah, Georgia in search of the meaning of life. After securing a six-month lease for a beachfront house on Tybee Island, Scarlet changes the way she looks, thinks, eats—basically her entire outlook on life. She needs peace, but what she gets is a housemate who looks like Thor, acts like a warden, and smells her proximity like a Bloodhound. Theodore Reed is a carpenter and perfectionist with a body built of steel, a black, hollow heart, and a hunger for revenge. He doesn’t like company, girly-smelling crap, and British accents. He resents every breath she takes. She’s fascinated by his every move. In time, they discover their coexistence is toxic, their physical attraction is electric, the secrets they keep mean the difference between life and death, and the only truth they share is that everything is a lie. “Over eighty-five percent of the world's population believes in a higher power, yet, very few people believe in miracles.” Do you believe?   ss-live

JEWEL E. ANN is one of my ALL TIME FAVORITE authors. Every single book of hers that I have read has completely rocked my world and played my heart. She does this really sneaky thing, where you think that you have a clue what you're  getting yourself into going in to the book. And then there you are---jaw on the floor, heart beating out of your chest, tears streaming down your face... lost in love lost in the Jewel E. Ann's world once again. Not knowing which way is up, not knowing how to find your way back down, and never EVER wanting it to end.

SCARLET STONE was SUCH a beautiful, brilliantly written book, packed SO full of LOVE and LIFE and HEART and SOUL. She hooked me from page one. Entertwined with a beautiful story of finding love when you LEAST expect it, Scarlet Stone tells the story of this amazing love affair with LIFE! Scarlet finds joy and beauty and love within herself and its such an empowering thing to experience with her. This book an epic journey and while at some points I thought it would break me, I absolutely loved every second of it!

I can not recommend this story strongly enough. Like every book I have read by Jewel E. Ann, it was absolute perfection.
