M Y R E V I E W:
I didn't have a chance to read Ladie's Man so I can tell you for sure that Womanizer can totally be read as a Standalone. Because while I'm sure Ladie's Man was amazing, like everything Katy Evans writes, but I totally didn't feel like I was missing out while reading this at all.
This book opens with Liv moving to a new city, accepting a new job, working with her big brother. She soon meets, and majorly crushes on, a "hot smoker guy" from her work. I don't want to give anything away, but this book is a super fun light-hearted read.
Its not the most original plot I've ever read (I know that sounds bad, hear me out), and often times I will not finish a book if I feel like I know how its going to end about one or two thirds of the way into it, however, with this book while I did feel that way, I totally kept reading because it was so much fun, their banter was adorable, and while they had instant-chemistry they didn't just say forget the world lets throw it all away and be together, they still made us, the reader work for it to see where it would go, I thought that was really cool. It was so worth seeing through to the end because this book was seriously fun.
