M Y R E V I E W:This was just a totally adorable read. A breath of fresh air in the midst of many (while amazing) gut wrenching books. I feel like I’ve had my heart torn apart and put back together again so many times this year. (But in all the very best ways, by some of the best authors) And while this book definitely took hold of my heart, it was quite gentle with it. Thank you Jennifer!
L A I N E Y T A Y L O R was a super fun, smart confident girl! Great BOOK BESTIE potential! LOVED being inside her head. She was absolutely adorable and down to earth. My heart hurt with hers as her mother was going through chemotherapy. She was working hard to try to help pay her Mom’s medical bills. She had trouble finding friends and feeling like she fit in at work in the beginning. She was adorably clumsy and sometimes said the wrong thing. I can 100% relate to ALL of the above!!! And most fun of all she crushed, HARD on her boss. :) But who wouldn’t?!
B R O G A N S T A R R …Let the Swooning begin! As much as Lainey had all the makeups for the perfect Book Bestie, Brogan was the ultimate Book Boyfriend! He was a wonderful combination of mysterious, SEXY, funny, dominant, and sweet. :) I loved the whole OFFICE ROMANCE element to the book, it gave Brogan an authoritative role which lead to some interesting twists. I would totally recommend this book to anyone asking for a lighthearted fun rom-com to read after an intense dark romance.
