You Guys! This book was SOOOO Good! Totally could not put it down! Read until 4:30 am last night and then had to wake hubby up (if you know what I mean. ;) hahaha!
I opened this book, not even realizing how much I had been craving it. Like your favorite dessert you haven't had in forever and then you treat yourself to it and it hits the spot in all the best ways... YES! Thats how this book felt. I was reading and was like Oooh Badass Heroine YESSSS! Sexy ass CEO, Yesssss! Oooooh inter-office romance YES PLEASE!!! Perfect amount of angst and suspense. Ugh... SO GOOD You Guys!
So basically it was like a Win Win Win Win. :) LOVED this book! The story line was great! I'm glad it didn't jump around POV. Not because I don't like when books do that, I usually do, but because it was really amazing being inside the head of Georgia. She's this amazing strong girl. She's fought her whole adult life to get where she in her career. She fully intends to be be CEO one day. She submits to NO NOT in the workplace, not in her daily life, and definitely not in the bedroom. She is confident and structured she has a set of rules she lives by and, well... then comes Landon banks to push every single one of those limits and push her to her breaking point and Man, does he love watching her squirm. :)
The chemistry between these two was OFF THE CHARTS. This book was sexy as hell. I loved the banter between the characters, ALL of the characters. But mostly I loved watching Landon break down Georgia's walls one... by... one.
